But what the heck were the opinion polls all doing? I mean, had they asked all the wrong people, to get their predictions so far out? Or maybe everyone they asked had been lying, or changed their mind last minute? Lifemeddlers, please stop.

Planet Russia is as big as Pluto, more than 200 degrees warmer, and not as distant as you might think. Once every year or so, I get a bit nostalgic about Russia in the Nineties. I only moved to Russia in 1999, but I began visiting in 1995, and it is those years that I affectionately recall today.

Turns out I stopped updating this for even longer than I thought. We started travelling on weekends more and I started spending my computer time avoiding homework instead of blogging. We went to Wadi Rum. The night sky at Wadi Ram is gorgeous. You can see the milky way! Our Jor.
